Looking to do a Christ-centered Easter activity? Here’s a He is Risen activity with a printable included! Post may contain affiliate links for your convenience.
During Lent this year I really wanted to do some Easter activities focusing on Jesus and the story of the cross. So, with my mother’s help (who is the artist) we created a printable to do a 3D version of the day He arose!
Here we printed out (shown below) the papers and the kids colored. Or some of them colored, rather.
My second son watched on from his high chair. He likes to eat crayons, really, so he wasn’t much into the lesson.
My firstborn son likes dumping crayons and organizing them and putting them back up more than he likes coloring. This is what happens when I try to do activities that actually have a real point. Sigh.
So after we colored (and my daughter might have thought Jesus wore a coat of many colors) we taped the Jesus, cross, and tomb cutouts on and propped them up with popsicle sticks. This could have been avoided by using cardstock which I did not do, but should have.
