Are you looking for books full of adventure, humor, and life lessons for your young reader? Look no further. These book series for boys are some of the best!
We are a reading family.
I read before bed, keep books in my bag, and am generally a Huge Fan Of Books.
Having read to the kids from before they could even sit still, they are also book lovers. We went from board books to picture books to short stories and now, for my older kids, we are onto chapter books.
Since I LOVE series and feel they help a child really learn to love reading, I’m always on the lookout.

The Hardy Boys
The Hardy Boys is a book series that has withstood the test of time. Each book involves a mystery and detective work that is sure to captivate young readers. My 9 year old son was all “that’s boring” and then he devoured 20 in like 6 weeks.
VICTORY
With 190 titles in the series, your boy won’t run out of exciting mysteries for a while.

Learn MorePercy Jackson
In this captivating series about Greek mythology, friendship and kindness are underlining themes. However, the stories can be a bit scary.
There are monsters, magic, and mystical creatures. Overall, I recommend this book for boys who enjoy reading about death-defying adventures.

The Chronicles of Narnia
You may have watched the movie, but nothing beats the thrilling story as told in the original text. I recommend starting with The Lion, The Witch, and The Wardrobe first.
Then, go back and read the origin story and sequels.
